✅ The Power of “Done”
Celebrate your accomplishments, regardless of size.
There are two directions that business go.
Staying course with what they know, with little change.
Growing and expanding, while also remaining strong in what they know.
Regardless of the direction that your company goes in, what’s important is staying on that course. Focusing on what drives profit and a steady customer base.
In the grand scheme of things, looking at the “bigger picture” is important, but let’s take a deeper dive into the mentality of your team members.
We are all individuals
Each team member has their own emotions, priorities, goals, wants, and needs.
From business owner, to employee, to freelancer, or to hobbyist; whatever role we play, we have own our prerogative.
Regardless of the role you play, what’s one thing most people have in common?
The satisfaction of a ✅
You have a list of 4 things to get done by the end of the day.
By 10am you only have one thing finished.
By 1pm you have two things finished.
By 3pm you have three things accomplished and crossed off.
By the end of the day you have one task “lingering” to get done.
You finished 75% of your tasks. That’s a lot.
Reward yourself. There is value in knowing you got a lot of things done.
We have this mentality that if we don’t get “everything” done at once we are a failure. Not true.
Continuing in a direction of process is one of the most satisfying feelings in the world.
Keep crossing things off your list. Pat yourself on the back, you’re doing great.
