#1: Social Media Will Be Be A Thing In The Past
Social media is a platform that has taken away the power of the small business. A tool that once possessed significant reach for small businesses is now a tool of the past.
With limited organic reach and a “pay to play” system, social media is no longer an asset for small business marketing.
Also, with questionable economic conditions, small businesses are downsizing and may not have the bandwidth to create content for social media.
#2: Email Lists Will Be Dusted Off
With additional pressure for sales, I wouldn’t be surprised if more small businesses started searching through their Constant Contact lists from 2016 to send out emails.
Email marketing has always been one of my favorite channels in marketing, but small businesses have yet to pay attention to the direct connection to their customers that email offers.
I believe marketers that can help small businesses create effective email marketing solutions can see great success in 2024.
