A tool that will change your training.
A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon a great tool that can make creating SOPs (standard operating procedures) more effortless, so you can easily share and train your team.
Enter Scribe.
Scribe is a FREE Chrome Extension that allows you to create effortless guides and procedures from any web app you use.
As you record your screen, it will automatically take screenshots, record keyboard strokes, and highlight mouse clicks - but those are just some of the great features.
FREE Features of Scribe:
Record Unlimited Guides
Invite Your Entire Team Together
Share guides with your team
Comment/Edit/Delete Guides as a Team
Add descriptions or additional steps
Create folders and organize with tabs
Add alerts and custom messages
Share links, upload to Google Drive
SOPs are never fun to create.
But they make essential to creating more efficient workflows.
Think about this…
What if you were out sick one day? No one would have to bother you; they can look at your guides on what they have to do in your absence.
Another scenario…
What if you are aiming for a promotion? That probably means your current job responsibilities will no longer be yours. It would be easy to hand your replacement the SOPs you’ve already created.
Saving Time = Saving Money
As I mentioned last week, saving time is directly saving money. If you can do that for your entire team, that’s a huge accomplishment.
Scribe is another excellent tool to use, mainly because it’s FREE!
We’re in Quarter 4 of 2022!
Whenever I get to the fourth quarter of the year, I think the year is “over.”
But we have plenty of time left!
Depending on your work atmosphere (think retail), this could be the craziest time of year.
Regardless, take 30 minutes this week and ask these questions for each goal:
How close are you to meeting it?
Can you do something right now to change the outcome?
Did you already accomplish it?
What would you change next year?
Keep these questions in mind so you can prep yourself for year-end reports.
Didn’t make any goals? It’s not too late!
If you didn’t make any goals for 2022, it’s not too late to start.
Three months is a long time to work on some short-term goals for 2023.
Here are a few ideas:
Stop procrastinating. Have a project you’ve been delaying? Finish it! Aim to finish that low-priority project so it’s off your plate.
Organize yourself. Maybe you have notes and ideas scattered about. Take time to look through your “to-do” list and get things prioritized in time for 2023.
Check your budgets. Did you overspend, or are you below your budget? If you are under your budget, it may be an excellent time to ramp up a new campaign!
