5 Ways ChatGPT Saves Me Time Daily
I admit I’m a Premium Member and pay $20/mo for ChatGPT - but it’s already worth it. It is always available for me and saves me so much time that it’s worth it.
Below are five unconventional ways, ChatGPT saves me time daily.
Summarize Long Articles
Sometimes some great articles or case studies come out that I don’t have time to read. So I sent them over to ChatGPT and asked for a summary. This allows me to get the gist of the topic with the quick points.
If I want to continue to learn more, I’ll ask a follow-up question. This is an excellent way for me to consume a lot of information in a fraction of the time. I typically save about 15-30 minutes a day.
Create A New Strategy for Social Media
As I mentioned, I just recently hired an assistant - who helps with my full-stack marketing - but he doesn’t have marketing experience.
So when I asked him to start managing and scheduling social media content, he asked if I had a specific strategy for him to follow.
Shamefully, I said no. I haven’t had time in years to create one. So who did I turn to for help? ChatGPT, of course!
This exercise turned out well after I was prompted to share information on the brand and audience. I now have a 2-page brand “voice” we use for social media and the building blocks for a more detailed strategy.
Make Me Sound Less B*tchy
Sometimes I have a bad day, or my social skills lack empathy. So before I fire off that emotion-filled email, I’ll run it by ChatGPT for a quick “b*tch check” to ensure I’m more professional.
Seasonal Newsletter Ideas
Using my analytics from years past, I had a good idea of what I wanted to send when it came to “springtime” emails for my audience, but I figured I would ask ChatGPT too.
With some great topic ideas and things I didn’t prioritize, it helps me schedule 4 weeks’ worth of newsletter topics.
It’s My Editor
After I’ve written a new blog or pitch email, I’ll use it for the final review. This is helpful for grammar issues I may miss or more cohesive ways to say things. Combing this editing with my Grammarly account makes things flow so much better!
*Bonus Tip* Give ChatGPT the tone you want to use in your writing, and it will edit for that too.
Overall, there are plenty of quick questions or ways ChatGPT can help you daily, from creating content to helping you write a cover letter. Use it the best way possible but also remember to check your facts!
What personality are you?
Recently, I took the 16 Personalities Test and discovered I’m what’s known as an Architect. The more and more I explored my inner workings and this type of personality, the more apparent it was about who I am and why I do/say things the way I do. It helps with the way I communicate and work with others.
I just started using it for my social media account for captions. It's pretty impressive.
