Game-Changing Marketing Tools You Need
Regardless of your industry, these are tools you can't market without.
For 10 years, I’ve continued to develop and enhance my skills around all marketing strategies - that’s why I am a Full Stack Marketer!
Don’t know what that means? 👉 here’s my definition
My requirements for any tool I use:
Save me time
Have a shallow learning curve
Keep me organized
Show value within 30 days
Let me explain…
Save me time
I’m in charge of 3 brands and all of the marketing initiatives behind them, so my time is precious. The tools I use should permanently save me time in some way. Even if it’s 30 minutes a week.
Have a shallow learning curve
Going hand-in-hand with the first point, I can’t afford to spend time learning a new tool before it starts paying back dividends. The onboarding for a new tool must be simple and easy to understand.
Keep me organized
Something I pride my work on is my organization. So when tools have ways to organize brands, initiatives, campaigns, and strategies with labels, folders, and automation, that’s a win-win.
Show value within 30 days
This is important for any tools that require payments. As you may know, most tools have monthly or discounted annual fees, so I have a limited time (sensing a theme?) to figure out when a tool is valuable.
As most marketers know, tools change and need to change along the way. So to add more context, I’ll also tell you how long I’ve been using these tools below.
*Please note some of the links I share are affiliate links - which means if you sign up I earn with no extra cost. These earnings help continue to support my newsletter.
Monday.com
Ditch Your Inbox & To-Do Lists
This is a must-have around marketing, managing, HR, creativity, and collaboration. What’s so lovely about Monday.com is that it can be flexible for any need.
I’ve explained below how this tool has saved 47 hours a week for my team, and I continue to stand by the value of this Work Operating System for every team.
Google Analytics
Every business deserves to know how they’re doing.
Regardless of your business size, what industry you’re in, or if you don’t even know what SEO is, every company with a website should have it hooked up to Google Analytics.
Google Analytics makes reporting easy for the performance of your website. But the best part is that you can create scheduled reports, so you don’t have to open them daily. It’s completely free to use with your website, and it’s a great tool to set up future growth and success.
Don’t know if you have Google Analytics on your website?

Google Search Console
Learn about how people are finding your website.
Google Search Console is a tool that I didn’t start using right away - but once I did, it was a game-changer. The free tool from Google helps connect your website (via you Google Analytics) to how people search and find your website online.
How does this help? This gives you insight into the exact phrases people search for when your website appears. This is great to 1) learn about services your customers are searching for, 2) see where your website stacks up compared to others, and 3) where you can improve the content on your website.
MailChimp
The best outreach marketing is email marketing.
I’ve said it before and will continue to say: “Email marketing is far more valuable than any social media marketing.”
Email marketing to your customers allows you to determine the exact time and messaging you want to deliver directly to your customers. Social media is limited in when your customers see your posts or if they do. Don’t know where to start on email marketing ideas? Here are a few:
Share your latest special or discount
Send quarterly updates on your industry
Share holiday hours
Provide helpful tips for free
Thanks for the shoutout to Marketing Powerups, Virginia! Really appreciate it
